For the financial year 2013/2014 Gretton Primary Academy received £9900 and spent it in the following ways:

Towards the salary of an extra teacher to allow smaller classes

Staff training aimed at supporting deeper understanding and progress in maths for less able pupils.

7.6% (10) pupils are eligible for PP funding

In 2014 progress of pupil premium pupils throughout the school shows that: 

  • Reading 100% made national average progress or more. 80% (8/10) made year group average or more progress.
  • Writing 70% made national average progress or more. 50% (5/10) made year group average or more progress.
  • maths 100% made national average progress or more. 90% (9/10) made year group average or more progress.

‚Äčin 2014 attainment of pupil premium pupils throughout the school shows that:

  • 70% (7/10) PP are at or above age related expectations in reading.
  • 80% (8/10) PP are at or above age related expectations in maths.
  • 70% (7/10) PP are above age related expectations in writing.
