Gretton Primary Academy’s Harvest Festival service recently took place at the local village Church.

Principal Mrs Jane MacDonald welcomed everyone to the celebration whilst Reverend Sian Reading opened the service with a prayer.

The whole school sang a variety of songs throughout the service and each class took it in turn to act out stories, recite poems and sing songs.

Mrs MacDonald said ‘Having our Harvest Festival service in the local church makes it extra special. Thank you to everyone that joined us and for all your donations. The children showed a great variety of performances and our Year 6 pupils will deliver the hampers around the village.’
