This year's Rose Fair has been brought forward to coincide with the King's Coronation.
Well done to all involved
Harvest still goes ahead at Gretton
Gretton Primary Academy, part of Brooke Weston Trust, were delighted to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with the grand return of the school’s annual Rose Fair for the first time in two years.
Our planet is an amazing place, but it needs our help to thrive! That’s why each year on April 22, we all celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. By taking part in activities like picking up litter and planting trees, we’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live.
March brought Science week to Gretton School!
During the summer term, Gretton Primary received a wonderful contribution of £1500 from Smurf Kappa on behalf of David Moffatt – a parent and school football team coach. This money was put towards the replacement of the canopy in the school’s outdoor learning space. Chirpy Chicks Pre-School also held a sponsored Zumbathon to help raise money for the new canopy.
What a day! Chris Allton captured the creative side of our pupils.
We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday 2nd September
